You have an outbound flight and a return flight. The practical question is always the same: how do I organise airport transfers without last-minute taxis, without dragging luggage onto the Leonardo Express, and without price surprises?
An NCC round trip transfer resolves both legs in a single booking: punctual driver on the outbound, automatic flight monitoring on the return, fixed price agreed in advance for both legs.
What each leg includes:
- Fixed price agreed before departure
- Luggage assistance
- Flight monitoring (for the airport pick-up leg)
- Waiting up to 60 minutes after landing
- Tolls and fuel included
Comparison with alternatives:
| | Leonardo Express R/T | Taxi R/T (estimate) | NCC Transfer R/T | |---|---|---|---| | Price | ~€28 | €100–150 | from €160 | | Luggage | Carry yourself | Driver assists | Driver assists | | Schedule flexibility | Train times | Available | Available | | Price certainty | Yes | No | Yes | | Return flight monitoring | No | No | ✅ Yes |
For 2 or more people with luggage, the private transfer becomes competitive on total cost, with the added benefit of price certainty and flight monitoring on the return.
Return leg (Airport → Rome):
- Your driver monitors your flight in real time.
- Meets you in arrivals with a personalised sign at your actual landing time — even with delays.
- Takes you directly back to your address in Rome.
To book both legs simply provide: Rome departure address, outbound flight number, return flight number and Rome destination address for the return.
Ciampino (CIA) is used mainly by Ryanair, easyJet and Wizz Air for European low-cost routes. About 15 km from the centre, 20–30 minutes by car, but not served by the Leonardo Express.
If you use different airports for outbound and return (e.g. departing from Fiumicino and returning to Ciampino), NCC transfers cover both: simply indicate the correct airport for each leg.
For the return leg: provide your flight number and scheduled landing time. Your driver handles the rest by monitoring the flight in real time.
Correct terminal: at Fiumicino check your arrival terminal on your booking. T1 and T3 are adjacent; T5 (extra-Schengen flights) is further away. Your driver waits at your terminal's exit.
Flexible departure time: if you expect schedule changes on the outbound day, notify your driver as early as possible. Usually it's possible to move the pick-up up to 2h before the scheduled departure.
