1. Service
My Rome Driver is a fully licensed private hire (NCC) service based in Rome, Italy. The service includes airport transfers, port transfers and private transfers in the Rome, Lazio region and inter-regional routes.
2. Booking
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation via email or WhatsApp. The service can be booked online, by email or WhatsApp up to 30 minutes before the transfer.
3. Rates
All rates are fixed and inclusive of tolls and ZTL restricted area charges unless otherwise stated. Prices shown on the website are per vehicle, not per person. A 25% night surcharge applies for transfers between 22:00 and 06:00.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Full refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before departure.
- 50% refund for cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before departure.
- No refund for cancellations within 24 hours of departure or in the event of a no-show.
Cancellations must be communicated via email or WhatsApp at +39 351 875 2759.
5. Delays & Free Waiting Time
For airport transfers, free waiting time is 60 minutes from the actual landing time, monitored in real time. For port transfers, free waiting time is 60 minutes from the vessel's docking. Beyond these limits, a charge of €10 per additional 15 minutes will apply.
6. Limitation of Liability — Force Majeure
My Rome Driver is not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by: exceptional traffic conditions or unforeseeable road closures; adverse weather events; public transport strikes; flight delays not communicated by the passenger at the time of booking; force majeure events (pandemics, natural disasters, civil emergencies). In such cases, My Rome Driver will endeavour to find alternative solutions subject to service availability.
7. Vehicles & Capacity
The luxury saloon accommodates a maximum of 3 passengers with 3 standard pieces of luggage. The luxury van accommodates a maximum of 7 passengers with 7 pieces of luggage. Passengers are required to declare the correct number of passengers and luggage at the time of booking.
8. Payment
Payment can be made in cash on board, by credit/debit card via a Stripe payment link (secure and encrypted), or by advance bank transfer. When paying via a Stripe link, card data is processed directly by Stripe Inc. and does not transit through our servers. Invoices are issued on request.
9. Privacy & GDPR
Personal data provided at the time of booking (name, email, phone number, transfer details) is processed solely for service management purposes, in accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679). It is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. For full details please refer to our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Italian law. The Courts of Rome shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
