2. Data Collected via the Booking Form

To manage bookings we collect the following personal data:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Transfer details (pickup location, destination, date, time)
• Number of passengers and pieces of luggage
• Flight or cruise number (optional)

3. Purposes of Processing

Data is processed exclusively for: (a) managing bookings and coordinating the transfer service; (b) sending operational communications via email or WhatsApp relating to the booked service; (c) complying with Italian fiscal and accounting obligations; (d) sending, subject to consent, a review request upon completion of the service.

4. Legal Basis

Processing is based on the performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for operational purposes, and on the explicit consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) for post-trip communications.

5. Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as strictly necessary for service delivery and for a maximum of 5 years to comply with fiscal and accounting obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

6. Payments via Stripe

When a payment is made via a Stripe payment link, credit/debit card data is collected and processed directly by Stripe Inc. (USA) — a Level 1 PCI DSS certified provider. My Rome Driver never accesses or stores card payment data. Stripe's data processing is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy available at stripe.com/privacy.

7. Cookie Policy

The website uses the following categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary technical cookies: language preferences (ncc-language) and currency (ncc-currency). Duration: 1 year. No consent required.
• Analytical cookies — Google Analytics 4: collect aggregated, anonymous session data (pages visited, duration, geographic origin). IP is anonymised. Duration: up to 2 years. Can be disabled via the cookie banner.

We do not use profiling or tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

8. Third Parties

Data may be shared with the following third parties solely for the stated purposes: Google LLC (Google Analytics); Stripe Inc. (payment processor). No data is sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Under Arts. 15–22 GDPR, you have the right to: access your data (Art. 15); rectify it (Art. 16); erase it (Art. 17); object to processing (Art. 21); request data portability (Art. 20); restrict processing (Art. 18).
